Set out to sail along the scenic coastline of Semiahmoo Bay, from Crescent Beach to White Rock Pier. The Surrey Sailing Club offers dinghy sailing lessons and several sailboat races throughout the year. Elgin Heritage Park also features a drive–in boat launch (Ward’s Marina) from which you can motor your way along the Nicomekl River and access the ocean.

The Elgin Heritage Park is on the banks of the Nicomekl River. The forested areas between the two entrances to the park have many large trees often used by eagles and hawks to survey the surrounding area for prey.
