Tourism Surrey Eliminates Membership Fees

SURREY,British Columbia – November 9, 2009 - Tourism Surrey announced todaythat the organization has adopted a stakeholder model, eliminating membership fees.
The new model allows Tourism Surrey torepresent a wider range of tourism products and to build more diverseand dynamic marketing initiatives. Tourism Surrey initiated a freestakeholder model to represent more of the varied tourism opportunitiesavailable in the community, thereby providing greater service to Surreyvisitors.
Free registration to become a Tourism Surrey partneris now available to any tourism-related business, organization orservice. The opportunity to be involved with the community’sdestination marketing organization is a great way to market productsdirectly to those that make the travel decisions. Tourism partnersparticipating in one of many of Tourism Surrey’s cooperative campaignsautomatically become a marketing partner with full voting privilegesand eligibility to sit on the Board of Directors and Committees.
