Winter Fest
Surrey's Winter Fest takes place every February at the Central City Plaza in celebration of the winter season. The community event includes something for everyone in this winter wonderland. A skating rink is set up with public skating throughout the day, winter crafts and hands on activities are available for the kids, and all day live entertainment makes is complete. This winter tradition is a must for people of all ages!

Envision Jazz Festival
Presented by the Surrey School District, this annual jazz festival celebrated musical excellence and showcases teamwork as well as individual achievement in this form of expression. Featuring jazz bands, vocal jazz ensembles, and professional jazz performers this festival encourages students to strive for their own musical goals. Adjudicators take part in the festival and provide students with an opportunity to grow and excel. Annual awards and scholarships are also presented to recognize outstanding students and musical performances. Bring the family and enjoy an entire day celebrating jazz music and student achievement.

Surrey Festival of Dance
This spring festival is the largest amateur dance competition in North America with over 10,000 dancers crossing the stage each year. With one month of festivities, each dance discipling will have selected placement winners, along with various trophies and scholarships. At the close of the festival, an "Honours Performance" takes place where the winners from the festival performs and are recognized for their achievements.

Annual Vaisakhi Parade
The annual Vaisakhi Parade is one of the largest events in Surrey and draws in 80,000 people from all over the Lower Mainland. Vaisakhi is one of the most important festivals in the Sikh calendar and celebrated both the Sikh New Year festival and teh anniversary of the founding of Khlsa in 1699. Locals can be seen giving away free food along the streets, sharing, helping each other, singing, walking in the parade, and truly embracing their culture. The Vaisakhi Celebration is in fact a community event and welcoms people of all backgrounds to participate.

Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair
The Cloverdale Rodeo is the third largest rodeo in North America and it takes place every year over the Victoria Day long weekend. This event has attracted visitors from all over the world since 1938. The traditional exhibition bringing agriculture and horticulture exhibits, including arts and crafts, home baking and canning, needle work, photography, sewing and floriculture, to the fun family affair. Other festivities include live concerts and the Cloverdale Rodeo Parade.

Surrey Children's Festival
In June, Children flock to this festival which encompasses three fun filled days of creative exploration through exhilarating performances, and fantastic hands-on activities. Surrey's Canada Day
July 1st is Canada's Birthday and the City of Surrey is always ready to celebrate with the community. The event starts in the morning with concerts display booths and interactive activities for the whole family. Bring the kids out for face painting and freebies. The food fairs are a great way to stay energized throughout the day. The celebration goes into the evening with fireworks to light up the summer night.

Canada Cup
The Canada Cup is an International Women's Fastpitch tournament that takes place at the beginning of July. At the centre of it all will be many of the best in the world of women's fastpitch competing on the diamonds at Softballl City for the coveted Canada Cup. Canada Cup fans have been treated throughout the years to exciting, intense championship competition. If you love watching sports, you will have to attend this event.

Fusion Festival
This is Surrey's largest, three day, multicultural event and it takes place at Holland Park where you will find multiple stages of entertainment with an abundance of rich cultural entertainment.
