Surrey is home to a number of great fishing spots throughout the city. Please note that provincial fishing licenses are required for persons wishing to fish in BC. These can be purchased from sport fishing stores or major retailers. Fishing limitations apply. Salmon from July through December. A popular spot for fishing is a small beach located beneath the SkyTrain bridge at 11931 Old Yale Road, near Brownsville Pub & RV Park
The north end of this lake is a popular spot for Salmon and Trout fishing.
The Tynehead hatchery is located in the Tynehead Regional Park, near the headwaters of the Serpentine River. Tours are available for visitors to look around the hatchery and to learn more about habitat enhancement. Group tours are available, call ahead to pre-book.
