Annual Vaisakhi Parade

The annual Vaisakhi Parade takes place in April and is one of the largest events in Surrey and draws in 80,000 from all over the Lower Mainland. Vaisakhi is one of the most important festivals in the Sikh calendar and celebrates both the Sikh New Year festival and the anniversary of the founding of the Khalsa in 1699. The Vaisakhi Celebration is truly a community event and welcomes people of all backgrounds to participate.
